Bret Michaels rocks Stiefel Theatre

An awesome performance was provided by The Ultimate Doors - A Tribute to the Doors for fans who saw him at Stiefel Theatre in Salina, Kan., on Friday, Aug. 30, playing infamous Poison hits and mixing in a couple of other songs.

Michaels, opening with "Talk Dirty to Me," also performed "Look What the Cat Dragged In," "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Something to Believe In," "Unskinny Bop," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Fallen Angel," and "Nothin' But a Good Time" (as an encore). Additionally, Michaels sang "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynard Skynard, and "What I Got" by Sublime -- mentioning to the audience that the latter was one of the first songs he heard again when recovering from his brain hemorrhage.

Michaels put on an energetic and personal performance, interacting with the audience and sharing brief anecdotes throughout the show, although the show only lasted just over an hour, which was the one downside. With the theatre being small, every seat in the house had a great vantage point of Michaels, as he danced around the stage and cruised through the high-energy set list. All in all, awesome show!
